The way I say the tests last night, the turbo is what makes a bigger difference. I couldn't tell for sure last week, but my tests last night confirmed it. Again without going into it too much I would recommend this nine turbo as an upgrade to the 8

SO if the turbo is upgraded on the VIII to the IX, then it would make the same power the IX's are making with the same bolt on mods? Thanks again

You would be similar. The difference would be spool up time. Overall peak numbers would be comparative.
But Yes it would be a well worth upgrade with cams of course. A GOOD SET OF THEM.

to Precision for their work in tuning this car.

For what it's worth, I had been planning an Evo 9 turbo upgrade for my 8 since finding out that it would be a direct bolt-on unit, so with that in mind, stay tuned for a Forge Motorsport Evo 9 Wastegate Actuator! (yes it's different from the Evo 8 unit.)
