Talking Bolt in Turbo Question?

Newbie like question alert.
Who makes a bolt in turbo upgrade for an 05 Evo (just the turbo) without all the negatives like compressor surge and drivability issues. Is it simply a matter of buying an Evo 9 turbo and installing that. It seems someone would make an upgrade for all driving conditions and not just sustained 25psi boost to 7500rpm on race gas. Mitsubishi has changed the turbo what 3 times on the evo 8-9 making slight improvements in power and drivability each time by changing the hotside etc, etc..

So is Mitsubishi the only turbo that is a swap out unit without fear of all the bad afteretaste...?

P.S. Save please the lectures about how this is the last part that should be modified after you have put on cams and alcohol injection, I have read it all and this is off topic. I simply want to know if there is a bolt in replacement that offers some advantage over the stock 05 turbo without any negatives.

Thanks!!

Search the below turbos for bolt in options with the stock mani -I apologize if I mixed up the turbine wheel nomenclature. (HR/HRS-iconnel/ti??)

stock 03=TD05HR-16G6-9.8T
stock 05'=TD05HR-16G6-10.5T
evo 400, or Essex turbo (both UK) offers BB centers for above
aftermarket TME Evo 6.5 turbo=TD05HRS-16G6-10.5T (titanium turbine wheel)
aftermarket WR=TD05HRS-16G6-10.5T same as above with a bigger, 5 blade copressor wheel. (Forced performance)
aftermarket 20g same as above with a bigger compressor wheel of a different design
(Bushur Racing)

The Forced Performance TD05HRS-16G6-10.5t sounds good (I wonder if this is the Evo 9 Turbo?).
Thanks for the help!

i thought i read in one these threads somewhere that dave is reworking the 20g for some reason. would be interesting what he is trying to fix or improve on. 20g sounds like the best option tho.

He is I spoke to them today in fact. It has some surging issues and is not right for all situations evidently. We will see what they come up with, hopefully like some of the others mentioned above that do not have the negative side. The TME and WR seem to be the best bet although I am not quite clear on the diff yet. They both have the 10.5 hotside and lighweight internals (does the forced performance model really have bigger compressor wheel?).
