If he is looking for the most possible HP, i think the GT42R is the top dog right now.

Sorry let me rephrase, and I think Dero's post backs me up. Most possible hp as stated in the first post.

The T67 makes crazy horsepower too, but lots of lag, as does the GT42R, but I don't think it's as bad as a T67. I believe AMS just started making the GT42R kit, and I do not believe it is available yet for the IX. Also I believe the GT42R is a great drag turbo, capable of 800WHP+, but I believe the GT35R is a better all around turbo, because it would be the better for daily driving, less lag, can do low 10s to high 9s@135-145MPH, and 650-750WHP potential, which in my opinion is more than enough for an EVO. But if you plan to drag race your EVO or you just have a strange urge to want to beat high horsepower Supras on the streets, even though daily driving may suffer, then the GT42R is for you. I believe it is capable of 750WHP+, high to low 9s@145MPH+ (maybe even 8s, but remember there is a lot of supporting mods you need to really make this beast put the power to the ground effectively).

Whatever kit you wind up getting, I'm claiming stake to your stock Evo 9 turbo!

Seriously!

I say you start with the GT35R Turbo kit and see who can TUNE it properly.
