This would depend, in your case you will prob. be going with over sized connecting rods so you will prob. have to buy the same bearings. The main bearings are on the journals of the crank and will probably be reusable as long as they are not scored or scratched.

Just replace them, the price is small for the peace of mind it gives you.

Replace them with Clevite 77 bearings, once you crush (torque down the cap)a bearing it will never be the same as the first time it was torqued down. Many say it doesn't matter but many engine builders are religious about installing a bearing only once.

Are you dropping the rods and pistons without taking the crank out of the block? If so then justuse the bearings in there, but if you are doing a complete teardown and assembly then bearings are cheap...

Eagle rods are standard size, yes the rod is bigger in the many ways but the big end width and Dia. are still standard. If you are doing only a piston swap it can be done without pulling the crank so in that case you would only need rod bearings. They will be a std. size unless you need to have the crank ground b/c of damage, in that case they will be .010 or more thicker to make up for the smaller rod or main journal. Any good shop will be able to help with this, and if you are asking this question I would recommend you use a shop.
