im scared...is this normal

ok i was just checking my car for leaks with a boost leak test kit i made....so i filled it up with 10 pounds..then i got it up to 20 and all of a sudden it just all leaked out of the oil cap thats on top of the head..kinda sounded like popping off a intercooler pipe....cant be good.....wat do u guys think??

if you're engine is cold when you do the leak test you will have some blowby the piston rings. I would warm it up good before performing the test.

To avoid that cap the UICP before the throttle body when you do a test. That way you're not pushing pressure into the engine.

Bumping an old thread.

I got the same results and my motor was at full operating temperature. I had just got done driving it about 20 mins before. Would that make that big of a difference?
