Right now I have an APEXI AVC-R boost controller and I want to switch to a MBC because I heard the AVC-R has an issue with not holding the boost where its set to. Is this as simple as switching out the AVC-R solenoid with the MBC and unplugging the AVC_R main controller from the harness or is it more complicated than that?

 

the AVC-R is fine if you set it right. your always going to have some sort of boost taper. and yes its that simple

 

This is wasted money to go back to a mbc so i would check the connections and operations of the ebc and just use it.

 

I would stay ebc, I have had both and ebc is so much nicer especially if you have a UTEC with several maps.
