Turbo XS Short Ram Intake

I was wondering if anyone has tried this intake. Im interested in puting on a non tuned evo 8 bone stock. Lancer shop says no prob with mas air and no detonation. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I am running this on my car. I did tune the car with a UTEC after install but when I was tuning my car the readings from the MAF stayed very constant and I didn't see any sharp spikes in Hz or any excessively lean or rich spots.

After saying that I would still recommend tuning you car. It is amazing on the power you will see from engine management. And it will make that intake run better.

Thanks for the response, just still trying to keep the car under waranty, and trying to get around mess'n with the ECU, gess just wait untill the waranty is up, like that ever happens. Maybe just order some tein springs for now. Thanks for your help.

It kills me when people say this. If you modify your suspension, that will void your warranty faster than any other mod you've been considering. If you have an 03/04, they can't even detect an ECU flash, but with springs, they will see that right away. Any modification to the suspension gives them free reign to blame just about any and all problems on you upsetting the factory setup.

If you're really concerned about the warranty, but want some extra power, get a boost-controlling flash and a cat-back. If you have an 05, they _can_ detect a flash, but they are not likely to look for it.

Get one that includes the intake pipe also, there are gains to be had in it.

I love my Injen setup, one of the best intakes IMO.
