I had a weapon-r on my 06 Civic Si for a little while before turbo'n it... I really liked it, they won a comparison test in TPR magazine a while back against a whole bunch of other intakes. They have a patent on their intake piping as well, it has an interior pipe near the throttle body that is supposed to make it flow better. Plus they come with a "ram air" kit, which is basically a scoop connected to a flexible tube that connects to the intake. I noticed that the Evo X on the cover of Modified Magazine's July 09 issue has a scoop with tubing similar to their ram air kit, down near the bottom of the fender to pull in cold air.

Only drawbacks is that on the one I had it didn't have a solid mount welded to it, though you probably dont need one with the evo x. They provided a piece u strapped on and bent to make the support. Their couplers are just pure silicone, no ply in them at all. On an intake that doesn't seem to be completely necessary though, so not a big deal I think.
