Hi,

Dave Buschur posted this on his website. Hopefully he will have dyno results and photo's soon. I'm going to wait and see what Dave comes up with.

One of the things that just don't look good on the EVO is the air inlet to the turbo.

Luckily we had this kick *** filter for the Lancer OZ when we worked with it last year. The filter fits the EVO perfectly. I wanted to get a smooth inlet on the car that would put the aircleaner up higher in the engine bay and further from the turbo.

I finished the 3" mandrel bent inlet yesterday. It will be offered in red, black, white, blue and of course polished stainless steel. Every inlet will be stainless steel regardless of color or polishing. This part will only work with our airfilter. The aircleaner had a good gain on the dyno, I would imagine this is going to add just as much. I kept the inlet for the BOV to go back into it. I can delete it for anyone running an aftermarket BOV. I also eliminated the hose inlet for the vent on the valve cover. We all know that does nothing but fills the turbo and intercooler with oil. The other small nipple for the outlet to the factory boost control seloniod is gone too.

Very clean, VERY good fitting part.

The next piece I am going to finish is even nicer. Should be a good HP gain along with a nice weight reduction. I will keep you all informed.

The air inlet is at the benders as is the exhaust getting copied. I am not sure of the price on the inlet but I want to keep it low.

Enjoy the ride,

David Buschur

Speedlimit,
Thanks for keeping us updated with the info from Burschur, it sounds like he is working on some solid go-fast parts for the EVO!
