I recently bought a cusco oil catch can and putted it on by a turner. He only connected the oil catch can with vent barb on the valve cover. He didn't connect another barb on the oil catch can to MAS. Do i need to connect the MAS?

 

according to the Cusco manual you don't have to, they send you the caps to plug the holes, altough I did connect mine. Anybody that thinks I should not have done it please let me know. Also if you do think that way plese give me a rational explanation

Which one is bettter? Connect or disconnect the oilcatch can with the MAS?
