best down pipe to go with espelir catback?

hey guys..just installed the espelir catback...love the way it sounds! i dont even listen to the cd player anymore
now i want to do a downpipe as well. i dont want to make it super loud once everything is complete but a bit louder wouldnt kill me.
i was thinking going with an espelir downpipe as well? or perhaps helix? and should i go with a helix high flow cat as well to complete everything? thanks guys...any help is greatly appreciated

I have the Espelir cat-back with an Invidia downpipe and testpipe with the downpipe and test pipe heat wrapped.

Here's a sound clip:

I love it!

indeed i noticed that the espelir downpipe is one of the cheaper ones. how do u like ur set up? was the addition of the downpipe and hi flow cat a lot louder than just the catback by itself? and ps how much did the UR high flow cost u?

and mike@forge...damn bro that thing sounded mean! i know that u cant get all of the sound on film and i can only imagine how it sounds in person lol. how loud is it in person? enough to get the police mad?

and guys...did u have trouble with the CEL light appearing after the stuff was put in? if so what was ur solution? Thanks again

My setup is not too loud at all really. (in my opinion, there are much louder exhausts) Consider that my brother was no more than 2 feet from the rear of the car when we made that little clip, though.

It was actually slightly louder inside the cabin before I heat wrapped it, and afterwards, it seems to resonate inside the cabin much less. It seemed to make the tone out of the muffler tip slightly louder, but not inside the car.

I'll have to see if we can setup a drive-by clip or something soon.

did u have any problems with the cel after installing? and is there any big difference in hp gain in a test pipe and high flow cat?

and also no cell problem for u? i want to get a test pipe but on the description from one of them said that check ur local laws before installing...and i live in so cal lol..we have the strictest emission laws and the police can be quite harsh too
how was the hp increase? can ur butt dyno tell a big difference from just the catback with the downpipe and hi flow?

i'm pretty sure the Espelir is the only one to date that properly fits ACD cars and clears BOTH braces underneath. Plus its a bargain like thier catback.

I had no problems with CEL's but I used the spark plug anti-fouler fix.

There are two kinds of anti-foulers. A longer version and a shorter version. I used one long and one short and it works perfectly!

A test pipe (cat-delete) will deffinetly make more power than a high-flow cat.

My Invidia downpipe diffinetly did not clear the OEM lower bars. I used a custom set of bars made specifically for the Invidia downpipe.

I think you're right about the Espelir pipe though!

i purchased a full turbo-back like 3 days ago from supremevcr (awesome vendor). i bought the espelir dp, helix testpipe w/cell fix, and the espelir jgt500 exhaust.

i didnt get my parts yet since the espelir dp is out of stock, but im really excited to get my parts. im pretty happy that i went with this setup from what the members posted in this thread.

since i have had cars with no cats in the past i'll probably leave mine in place for a few years. Makes me wonder if the downpipe is going to make much of a difference for me since i'll have the bottleneck at the cat. Oh well i guess i'll see when i get flashed.
