in the market for lifters and wanted to see how many people have safely installed 2g or 3g lifters.
Is the evo8 lifters that much diffrent that the dealers wants double the price?

I picked up some new lifters on ebay for about $130 for 16. I can't remember the search criteria I used to find them, but you might try there.

not sure if they fit the evo head or what is better to use but. . . revised lifters have been known to stop tick for a period of time. i'm stressing - "for a period of time"... often just cleaning your lifters will do the same thing. try cleaning yours though before you go wasting $ on something that isn't a guaranteed fix. trust me, after owning dsm's for close to 10 years...... i've learned to live with it. i'm sure many evo owners will have to learn too in the future. even for dsm's revised lifter success isn't 100% (just a heads up).
