Adding External Wastegate to Megan Manifold

I got a good friend who is good at welding. I would like to add a external wastegate to my megan manifold. Has anyone done this before with this particular manifold? Do I just cut the front two runners and add the wastegate there?

To do it properly you need to come off both ports of the manifolds because it is a twin scroll. It can be done though.

Thanks Mangook!
Yes but in order to do this you must do the following:
Weld shut your hotside wastegate flapper.
Take the Megan Manifold and since our turbos are twin scroll you MUST do this process carefully to take ALL 4 runners of the manifold and your friend does the magic with the welding doing what is needed. I suggest a 44mm Vband wastegate from Tial or ANY vband wastegate, why? Because its easier to remove. Also the dump tube if you do it properly will travel directly behind the A/C compressor and with the proper angle it will go after the undertray so you dont have to cut it.

Hope this info helps and happy power gaining because it will make some power on your car.
