SS Autochrome version of the AMS cooler is what it looks like.
Unfortunately I don't have any experience with them so I cannot comment on its usefullness

Wrong, there are two intercooler on Ebay that have the same specs and core as XS Engineering and AMS. close up look exactly the same. i know someone who have one of them Treadstone 24x12x3.5, he have it on his EVo with 3071R turbo, works just fine. Bar and plate is bar and plate. It's like people paying crazy price for works downpipe, when Megan racing down work just the same, 3 inches is 3 inches, metal is metal. kabisss??

yes to see if there is power loss or power gain. Unles you want to hook up temp sensors to the IC to see the drop? still funny?

you can also hook the IC up to a barometric pressure tester to see the pressure drop. The outer shell may be the same. would you like to open it up and see what the opennings are and see if they are the same size as AMS and or XS. ARC uses 3mm, 6mm and 9mm openings.

how about you tell me how you would test it then mister know it all?
