eh i think those are cliche...kinda like some of the ricer brands now that make intake filter in the shape of a fmic...corny
the purpose of an intake is to bring in colder and more air..so a straight simple pipe would be a lot more effective than that

for almost 7k it better work.
Except your forgetting that a throttle body can becaome a restriction as it can only flow a certain cfm.
With this you have twice the amount possible air being taken into the plenum.
imagine having a 65mm throttle body that flows 800 cfm if you max that out it becomes a restriction you can move up to a 75mm that flows 1000 cfm, but what id you needed more, it would be impossible to get a 130mm throttle body (no one would make a pipe large enough) but with a dual setup you would be flowing 1600 cfm or even 2000 cfm with twin 75's.
More air= more power.
