People on this board have to start seeing the light of nitrous. It is a great thing when set up properly. I thought about going this route but kind of leaning elsewhere now since I got alky.

Go to the track and watch for the fast people, ask them, such as DSMotorSport and they'll tell you its awesome and perfectly safe if setup properly.

I'm about to have a kit installed here in an hour, Ill post pics when its done.
could you please post some info when youg et a chance? i would greatly appreciate it. and thanks for taking the time to reply.

yup just run a colder plug with the right jets and your in business you won't need a seperate fuel map becuase the DP system will supply the fuel.

i didnt think that even though u were going to mix nitrous and gas with a dp system, that it didnt require a seperate fuel map. i also was under the impression that while under spray u should retard a considerable amount of timing, much that of like when running a high boost setting, so it would require a seperate fuel map for when using nitrous. if it is this easy then i will soon be considering nitrous again!

A lot of people on this board knock nitrous and everyone raves about alcohol. Well alcohol has popped a few motors as well. If you are going to take the risk might as wel run nitrous and make BIG power. Just pick up some c16 as a safety.

^ You don't even need C16 if you're tuned for it saftley and everything installed correctly.

I am running nitrous on my evo. I love it. I run a 50 shot NX kit. I tried doing a second 50 on top of that and my stock ignition would not burn it. I run it on pump gas and on c-16 at the trackat 25 psi and no tuning at all. I do not recomend doing a reflash with nitrous because of the timing advance. I just bought a AEM EMS for the reason it can run my nitrous. But, a safc will work just fine as well.

I run a dry nitrous kit on my evo. I use the AEM EMS to add additional pulsewidth to the main fuel injectors to supply the correct amount of fuel. I also use the EMS to pull a bit of ign timing while the nitrous is on. The ems activates the nitrous kit via TPS,RPM,Boost, vehicle speed parameters.

I have used 45,50,75,80hp shots on my evo with the BR440 turbo, and 45 shot with the stock turbo on pumpgas. I have the stock turbo back on the car, and intent to push the nitrous untill I make 500whp on n2o/03 turbo. I think it will take about 100hp worth of nitrous to see 500whp on racegas.

Like i said, you do not need any tuning for a 50 or even a 75 shot WET kit. Just buy a fuel pump and spray it. And as always i recommend a Nitrous Express kit. The horsepower is rated at the wheels unlike the NOS kit which rates it at the crank.

I agree... wet kit is the way to go. As far as the shot.. i wouldnt go past 75.. 50 would be more like it. The stock turbo will only flow so much air.. To think that you will make 500 whp on a stock turbo is far fetched. What you will do is smoke that turbo in a very short time. I did a guy in oaklahoma with a 75 shot and a flash .. he used it for a long time and eventually sold the car. Hope this helps

Well, that's what everybody said about a 6cm 14b too, that the turbine housing would only flow so much. I found that not to be the case as I go 120mph out of it at 3100lb. If you spray it with 100shot, it makes 9 to 10mph no matter what turbo/boost/hp it was making before the nitrious.

Only way to know is to do it. Will see in march when the NJ tracks open again.
