The Evo 4 and up motos will not aork as they are 180 degrees from the Evo1-3 and US spec 4G63 Turbo motors.

As far as the swap, you are FAR better off selling your car and buying a GST or GSX of the same year and building it up...just watch out for crank walk

I guess it's not him, it's his customer who's looking for that swap. Anyhow, that's what I'd suggest, too

Your not really going to have an easy time of this.. You might want to consider a turbo upgrade for your 420a... bigger gains and alot cheaper than the endeavor you are considering. Also an AWD car has a different driveline altogether, which means quite a few other components would need modification or swapping, plus the chassis/floorpan mods required to accomodate it. If you want an AWD car, your best bet is to get a 1st Gen Eclipse AWD and modify it from there with boltons. Cost will be similar.
http://www.hahnracecraft.com/auto/eclipse/eclipse.htm anyway, if you want to improve performance without cutting up your car, this company has one of the best and most complete kits available.

Now that I think of it.. If this was a bolton swap, EVO8 theft would run rampant and these drivelines would end up in these clapped out eclipses, talons, lasers... reminds me of back in the late 80's when someone discovered how to swap the mazda 12a/13b motor/tranny into the (rear drive) Toyota corollas, datsun b210's etc..

I would just drop a 1G 4G63 in it. And this thread is 9 years old.
