I have used 3 types so far, the one that I like the most is the recirculating tuye. The ones that vent into the atmosphere made my car stall at mid range rpm ALL THE TIMES.

The stock plastic on on the 05 Evo 8 is not bad but can't hold boost
The Turbo XS RFL-H sounds too loud and makes the car stalls
The current one I am using know holds boost up to 28PSI no problem and it never stalls my engine. It is the 1 Gen Eclipse BOV which it mounted in the Buschur UICP.. good $hit!!

if you want that whooosh sound just get a intake...i think it sound alot better than high pitch sound most aftermarket BOV offers. I have JDM Diverter and it does the job and sounds great with intake.

Get the APS Bov man. Its 50-50. It recirculates under normal boost but when you step on it and hit full boost it VTA's without any stalling issues. With this Bov, you get best of both worlds. You get the sound and the function of holding high boost.
