Help with clutch

Help guys, I have a 03, my clutch peddle sags an inch or so after a couple of uses and then I have to pull it back up to the top of travel with my foot. It just started doing this last week, I have ~14K miles on the car.

Has anyone else experienced this on their EVO 8? Was it due to blown seal on the clutch's master or slave cylinder? Worn out stock clutch?

Thanks for your help,

Stan

A worn out clutch won't make it do that. Check fluid level first, if it's ok, a bad master/slave cylinder seal would be the most likely culprit. I've havent' heard of anyone having this issue so early.

The brake/clutch fluid is between the min and max marks. I guess I'll be taking it in to Santa Monica Mitsu next week to have them look at the problem, maybe in the seals on one of the cylinders. I’ll have them check out my synchros also. 1-2 and 2-3 crunches a little, or a lot sometimes if I'm in a hurry.
