Ay, i'd usually just say search but i'll go easy this time.

Turboback exhaust replaces the cat with a test pipe, there is an O2 sensor in the cat which you then put into the test pipe. The O2 sensor is now flipping out because you do not have a cat and throws the CEL light.

If you want to get rid of that problem buy a O2 simulator and it will trick the O2 sensor into thinking the cat is still there, thus removing the CEL light.

If you don't care just leave it alone and the CEL light will remain on.

Np man, if you've got anymore questions feel free to PM me.

I'm beginning to think that the reason people say SEARCH all the time is because they have no idea themselves.

I'm not sure if with a flash they can disable the CEL, a simple o2 simulator will fix the problem. I put mine in and I haven't had a problem with it since.

http://www.o2simulator.com/

That website will explain more in depth why the CEL light goes on and what the purpose of that O2 sensor is. You can also buy the o2 simulator there aswell.

Actually that will only reset the ECU, yes the CEL light will go off, but only untill it realizes there isn't a cat again.

yeah, your right sleet. i have NO idea. anyway, since sleet forgot to tell you about the CHEAP and EASY way to build an o2 simulator with a spark plug foul, pm me and i'll be glad to tell ya since i've done it myself with no issues. if not, pm sleet because i'm sure he knows the answer since he seems to be a know it all. matter of fact, i hope evoM changes the "search" to "sleet" that way he can answer any questions any member may have.
