I was not trying to exaggerate or mislead. Yes I do consied that to be the limits of the injector. By utilizing them outside of their optimal effecency, I consider unwise. I am not saying they will fail, but i would rather upgrade, and be safe... not sorry.

I was really just posting this to follow up on the install of the intercooler. I am not trying to make sensationalist claims...like "this is the most powerful...blah...blah...blah.." Just that it runs well, and I am happy w/the upgrades.

I understand you like to play devils advocate, but you really don't need to in this case. This is merely a post to inform people about the products and show some numbers associated with the tune.

As far as the 100hp+ claim, I was thinking in terms of: stock 278... modded over 378 ...all crank estimated hp numbers, you are right I was not using hard numbers...just some estimates... if that does not sit well, next time I will do a full on hard number assessment with exact numbers

My baseline...253/hp 244/tq was done w/the full exhaust on only, so it is hard to say what it was w/out any mods.

Next, even if it is at 360whp on a Dynojet, that is not "well over 100hp > stock," since the IXs are dynoing 270-275whp on Dynojets. That puts you 85-90whp over stock using that comparison, but the only real comparison that matters is what your car dyno'd stock on that dyno. I can't remember if you did that or not. If you dyno'd 225whp stock at PD, then you're 104whp over stock, eh.

You consider 85-90% duty cycle to be "pushing the limits"?

No problem. I just don't want other IX owners to get the wrong idea and use your words as gospel elsewhere when deciding on mods and arguing about how much power they should have (or not have). I also don't want newbie IX owners to think they have to buy injectors at this power level. I certainly understand and respect your preference to upgrade them. Lord knows money does not seem to be a hindrance for you, but for those with more realistic budgets, I want to make sure they know the best place to spend their money. Thankfully, through your testing of multiple products and subsequent DYNO FIGURES, IX owners are getting to see true results, and I thank you for that (while cursing you for the IX being so much better than my 05, haha).

Ok. I will keep posting any tests I can, with as much accuracy as I can.

John,
Its Nick(1)
It is pretty exciting to see a car that runs a peak of 22.5psi while tapering to 20 and making those peak hp numbers.
Again in comparison to your baselines.

Good luck with your car, I will see you soon.

i give john a thumbs up. the car had min mods and made great power. now for the injector battle, you DO NOT want to run them at 100% so for him to be calling new injectors at 85 90% is the smartest thing he can do. i think any1 maxing out there injectors is waiting for a problem. everyone i know and most i read up on change them out at around 80 to 90%. so john im on your side as im shore most will be. even precision dyno. cant wait to see the next outcome. at least your car will be running. do your thing.

I think Pruven's reads higher than some other Dynojets.
