exhaust emissions...

can any exhaust pass emissions as long as its cat-back??

yes, also check the DB rating, some shops won't pass it if it's too loud.

i know my exhaust is loud, but will it matter if i put the silencer on?

as long as it does not excede the state limit when you take it in for inspection.
