Any IXs with Megan TBE? Let me know.

I've been searching, waiting, searching, and waiting, but have yet to see someone claim to be using a full 3" Megan Racing TBE on a IX yet. I've seen a few mentions of the restonated test pipe and cat-back being used, but does anyone have the full Megan TBE?

I guess also if you just have the Megan cat-back, let me know how it's working out. I assume just like any other cat-back, it has the o2 bung issue, but that's not a problem if you install a test pipe and move the o2 back into the cat-back bung.

He will probably say that Megan is developing a new version for the IX that will be released in 2 months.

Yes, told by Megan, but I am still wondering if anyone has installed a current version on a IX yet.

I already had spoken with Megan and knew they were making a revised version. I don't know why your guy said it would be at least a half year. Megan stated 2 months when I called in December, but we'll see.

Even so, it doesn't mean the current one definitely doesn't fit, although it may actually not. I was hoping for first-hand experiences on this. Hopefully, we'll get the opportunity to try one this weekend ourselves.

Strange they are making an IX specific one. I mean all it needs is the O2 sensor capped for those IX's running the stock cat....but even then I would just stick in a temp bolt and be done with it.

In all I would be VERY surprised if the VIII exhaust did not fit the IX so long as the IX carrier bearing heatshield is removed and the two bolts holding it cut off, the hangers are all in the same location.

I think the Downpipe is the problem ..... the newer turbo doesn't fit the same.

Thats strange. I bought a Tanabe 70mm DP for the VIII and it bolted up nice to my IX and I know Buschurs 3" TBE bolts up fine too.
