Thank you for taking the cat by the horns, or the bull by the tail or whatever. I too was on the fence about which one to get.
Are they comparable in design, material and build quality? If so, I'll go with the Authority also. I already have the bushings installed.
Thanks to you, this is one choice I won't have to think about.

As far as "material and build quality" they both look and feel just fine.
The Authority feels a bit better with the extra $100.00 in your pocket that you saved.

all short shifters for the evo are pretty much identical. The authority is the sh^t because it includes both sets of bushings, a shift knob, and the retainer so your saving about $100. The kartboy and B&M are sweet but your going to spend $100 more for your bushings,retainer, and shift knob. I would get the Authority and not look back!

WORKS all the way...I believe it's the only one with the stock bend toward the driver.....30% shorter too. It's more expensive, but the quality is worth it. Definitely at least get nylon bushings for the shift cage, and then go the end link route. All I can say is rifle bolt.
