Are Turbo XS still shipping the Ti tipped ones? UPS is dropping one off today but I thought the Ti tip was no more?

They are still coming with the titanium tip, however they stopped heat treating it so no more blue hue.

Just finished the TurboXS install. Fits perfect, tons of clearance. Nice piece for 5 bills delivered. Will post sound impressions tomorrow when I put a few more miles on it and then compare it to the Greddy Ti and HKS Carbon Ti that I have installed and driven.

I know KamiSpeed had the Fujitsubo Ti version in stock when I picked up my RMO1A. They had it out and I was able to oogle and touch it a bit...I ran out of there quickly with my ahem, slightly less expensive stainless version before I did something stupid. Was quite a piece. Almost too pretty to put underneath the car.

Looking forward to it as I chose the TXS over the HKS.

Ok, here are my thoughts and opinions on 4 exhausts I have tried on the IX MR. There are sounds clips already done and plenty of pics of each too on evoM so I wont bother at this time but when Im done testing I will post tons of stuff.

Buschur Magnaflow

-good value for $825 delivered (full TBE)
-no beauty queen, packaging was so so and received some dings en route
-sounds great, like stock at idle and cruise, at WOT and higher RPMS emits a nice growl that is definately not stock
-perfect in areas where enforcement of exhaust laws are common
-no FWY drone even though she has no resonator which surprised me
-no neck downs at all
-easy install
-have yet to hear any magnaflow equipped car sound 'bad', great muffler

Greddy Ti

-Nicely made piece, welds are to die for
-Tiny neck down at converter...but to 3" vs 80mm on the rest of it = not an issue
-Its loud at idle, at cruise but it sounds mean as hell when your at WOT.
-FWY drone at 70-80mph is tough to handle for more than 1 hr driving. Drone comes from center of car it seems, wish it had a resonator because I love this exhaust.
-Easy install, perfect alignment.
-LIGHT

HKS Carbon Ti

-Great sound, very 'tuned' sounding if you know what I mean at WOT and higher RPM's as per the vid clip on their web site.
-Too bad fitment is so so on the IX from my experience. HKS over engineered the hangers IMO which = more install time and more alignment issues which I was never able to fix.
-resonator banged on driveshaft from time to time due to shifting of exhaust. Your results may vary and yes I had pros look at it and adjust it to no avail.
-well made but kind of chunky and heavy vs. all the others.
-looks great on the car but not worth the admission price IMO. Used price? Sure, than I would recommend it.
-necks down at converter

Turbo XS

- relative bargain for $500
- easy install, perfect alignment on the IX
- crappy gaskets ship with it
- sounds deep, no drone at FWY speeds but at idle you can tell this is not stock. Regular driving the sounds is louder but in a good way. I expected drone at FWY speeds with how it sounded driving around town but I was pleasantly surprised how quiet she is at 70-80mph - near stock.
-no neck downs
-WOT and higher RPMS this thing sounds very aggressive in a good way.

Next up? Would love to try the JIC Ti..maybe mid January.
