powerflex or buschur motor mount/bushing?

i think the idea of just having the front mount comes from the difficulty of installing the rear mount and that probably 80% of the motor flex will be gone w/ the front mount only.

forgive me if this is a dumb ? but besides added vibrations and difficulty of installation, which I dont mind since this is a performance part, are there any other negative effects if both mounts (front & rear) are installed on a daily driver?

they've both got metal insert sleeves. they're both solid polyurethane and they both work as intended. The powerflex may be slightly easier to install as it is a two peice and doesn't need to be pressed in.
I support the right of gays to marry so I bought the purple mount and I was impatient to get one so i paid more than if I had waited for Buschur.
It's absolutely absurd the amount of discussion generated on evom becuase of polyurethane motor mounts. Very similar to the number of congratulatory posts that accompany nearly every thread where someone opts to max out their credit cards in order to modify their evo.

/\ I got the ugly purple because I couldn't wait for the "OE" black. I have a press, but I think the Powerflex will be easier to install for average Joe. You don't have to have a press for it. Simple hand tools will do it if you are ok with destroying your OE bushing... but why wouldn't you be? However, GOT DAMN purple under the hood is ugly! Love it's intended purpose though!

Uh, I might be missing something here as far as the press goes. You need a press to take the old one out, so while you are standing there isn't it easy enough to press the new one back in? Just a though
Congrats 144 mph!! haha Had to throw it in.

I know some folks who installed the powerflex mm said that they were able to use a vice to press the new bushing in. Just wondering if anybody has tried this with buschur's mount? I am planning on doing this later today and was hoping to get the motor mount in with a vice. Thanks

I have some pics of how I pressed in the bushing and what not with a vise. Hopefully I will have them posted tonite. For those not wanting purple, its barely barely noticeable, you have to actually look for it to see it from the engine bay. I think both mounts are great and I would suggest buying whichever is in stock.

I didn't think about pressing the mount in with a vise actually becuase we have a press here. Yes, I think if you had a good vise you could press our mount in with it. You still have to get the old one out though.
