i bought a exedy tripple of a member of this site
it is slightly used, but i took it apart and discovered
the clutch had small chippes on the corner's of the first plate
(the one closest one to the flywheel)

I couldn't see any pictures at the time I posted my response! It said Photos not available. my bad. I see the photos now! I say it doesnt look that bad. I would talk to MATTGOLD, he should be able to answer this!

The chips are pretty typical of cerametallic clutches. From what I see in the photos, it's not bad at all. What matters most is the thickness of the discs and the flatness of the other surfaces. Basically it shows you how much heat and how much wear it has seen. I couldn't tell you what thickness the Exedy is supposed to be.

 

If ACTman says OK, then it is OK. enough said.
