Power increase

I have been doing plenty of research on power mods for my newly aquired evo 8.

some q's though.

I really like the WORKS o2 housing ,DP, RTP,IP, and ABM - all from WORKS 3". drop in filter and their brain flash P2, Nisei LICP and UICP, works DV, 100 octane fuel.

I belive they run 20psi boost I was wondering what sort of Power gains you guys are getting from this setup, or similar.

from what I've heard on the board guys are getting like a 50WHP gain or more. are these over inflated figures?

Thanks
Mike

basically a gain of 70 whp is realistic if you mod smart. Full Exhaust, with drop in K&N, and a custom tune with a MBC and you'll be happy. No need for the O2 housing and the UPIC. The lower peice is a nice investment and Works products aren't cheap but they have very nice quality though.

Are you asking if someone used all the mods you just listed, would they gain 50hp from it on 100 oct? Yes, easily.

50whp seems right for those mods with the Works P2 flash. As for the mail-in flashes, i believe they only flash for 91 or 93 octane.

Sorry forgot add that I will be putting a 255 walbro pump in as well. Also looking for a long term thing. will probably be putting cams, bigger intercooler and a 10.5 housing in the next step.

Spoke to them and they could tune for 100 octane if I wanted it.

is 50 whp not too low for this level of mods - even with different manufactures of the mentioned bolt ons.
