Alcohol injection with nitrous

Would it be safe to run a dry 50 shot or higher of nitrous with the aid of alcohol injection with the boost set between 20 - 22 pounds? thanks

a wet shot is recommended on the evo, correct me if Im wrong. and you can run 20-21lbs of boost without alky. w/alky, you can turn the boost up.(just like if you were running race gas)

I don't think you would want to turn the boost up just because of race gas? I'm pretty sure you'd want to have something like an SAFC to help adjust for it.

There are several threads with bits and pieces of info on this topic, search for nitrous and you will find them. I debated this setup for a while but I don't think I am going to go the nitrous route anymore. Alky and Nitrous have similar effects to engine as far as cooling and what not goes so the benefits of both in combo aren't going to be that significant. I may be wrong but thats the idea I have gotten from several people but no raw data on it. I personally would do either or.

i did search but found most everybody was talking about the wet kit not the dry kit. with the alky kit you would be able to run more boost i know, but if you kept the boost down and ran the nitrous would that be the same as just cranking up the boost? and yes i know that nitrous cost money and cranking up the boost is free i just want to know if it would be safe.

Watch out man. Your AFRs may be rich but that doesnt mean turning up the boost is going to give you more power. The turbo any higher will be out of the efficieny range and will be blowing hot air. Your AFRs may still look great but you could be knocking and not even know it.

i suggest you contact whoever you want to tune your car and let them tell you exactly what to buy. not many tuners will tune nitrous and alky injection....
