It'll happen, just give it a couple of more days. My tial wasgate came loose the first time Shiv tried to tune my latest kit and it spooled up real late. Same turbo as yours.

Tuning Technologies got it tightened up and made another 40 whp with it. Set your expectations for 2 weeks, then when Andrew call calls on Wednesday you'll be skipping like a pixie.

Well to make you feel better im running the Vishnu Stage 3 which sounds like a very similar setup to your car and on stock FMIC and Intake at 20psi on 93 octane my car made 385whp, so im sure it will be a blast when its done.

Again thanks for all the kind words again guys.. I feel a bit better today. Im sure in the end it will be fantastic. As of right now, the beast spools like a 40r tehehehe.

Research update.. Turns out my spec turbo is a little larger than Vishnu's spec.
Correct me if im wrong:
Full-Race spec
Compressor Specifications:
-56 trim GT37 series compressor wheel with a max flow rate of 53 lb/min
-0.60 AR ported shroud compressor housing

Turbine Specifications:
-84 trim GT series turbine wheel <---- right there, I think Vishnu use's a 64, or 70 trim.
-0.63 T25 turbine housing
-Steel ball bearing center section.

So with the diffrent trims even being that size it would spool just a little later (not a TON like it is) but have a bit more top end?

This is like watching a kid go threw surgery. Just on edge

Mine has the .63 AR, T3 Turbine housing, 4 inch ported shroud cover aswell, I think our numbers should be pretty similar. If I was you I would expect 10 psi by about 3800 rpms and 20 by about 4200.

thats about right, maybe a little earlier depending on the tune...

andrew's been working with a good customer of mine(Todd) on his EVO setup with the same turbo.
have andrew check the tolerance between the turbine wheel and housing on the exducer measurement of the wheel.
is this setup using a 44mm gate? if so, have him also check that the valve seat of the wastegate is properly installed. this is a common over look that can create an exhaust leak before the turbine, resulting in slow spool.

also, what type of boost controller and ems is being used?

in the meen time, i think you might need some of these

Ken

Okay guys, dun dun dun.. So we got it all worked out. You guys wont belive what was wrong lol.. Lets just put it this way. Operator error due to the tired nut behind the wheel on the dyno. I will let Andrew chime in and face the world and give you the details, thats if he fesses up to it lol.

As for numbers.. Well the car hasnt really been tuned yet. We put her on the dyno and did a few basic runs, decied to be very unagressive at the time due to the fact I wanna break in the clutch and the other parts first b4 added alot of pressure or tq to them. So without further adue, for the moment. We put down 360 on a DynoDynamic dynometer. We didnt bother with race gas yet.
For the car not being very "aggresive" as Andrew puts it, she pulls like a raped ape. It made me a bit jumpy to say the least lol. Im very happy thus far and where not even started lol.

Again thanks for the support in my times of "flipping out/ boo hoo'ing" ..

Thanks again

Your car was the **** last night. I've never been in anything as fast as that was. I think I'm defiantly going to go with the Full-Race kit soon.

360 on Andrew's dyno on pump gas is pretty damn good. Just wait 'til you break everything in and start running racegas.
