Evo 8 to 9
Ok i have an evo 8 with basic mods for about a yr and im ready for a ix, will my old
aem intake, logic performance dp and cbe work on the 9, and my apexi safc, and will i
be able to run normal user tunable settings or will mivec make me break something
cuz that happens to me...alot

*sigh* Please do some research before starting threads like this. Also, don't put Evo 9 in your profile until you have one.
1) Aem intake - yes, it will fit, of course, but it's not useful without an associated tune (bad idea)
2) LPI exhaust - apparently, it does not fit properly according to some threads, but you might as well try it to be sure. If it doesn't fit, then sell it and get one that does fit.
3a) No, the SAFC won't work unless you splice directly into the ECU wires, because there is no patch harness made for the IX ecu yet.
3b) Even if you decide to splice into the stock ECU wires (bad idea), the SAFC can't properly tune the IX, because the ECU is more advanced/complicated, and you have no control over the MIVEC. I suggest selling the SAFC and getting a flash, or get a flash and hang onto the SAFC for fine-tuning later in life when a patch harness is released.
