Question Clutch line help

Hey guys,

I’m looking for a new clutch line for my Evo as I am getting ready to replace my clutch soon. I’ve done some searches on the site, but haven’t come up with a definitive answer. I’ve noticed that there are many different brands of clutch lines such as Agency Power, Lancer Shop, and a few others.

What I’m looking for is a clutch line that is a perfect fit as the stock one. It should be the same length, same type of banjo bolt, new fittings, etc. I’ve heard of some clutch lines that are being sold that are too long and have to be routed in strange ways to be kept out of the way, which I would like to avoid. I’ve seen where some of the newer clutch lines are coated to prevent chafing of the braided jacket, which is a plus.

So if someone can point me in the right direction of a quality clutch line or one they recommend, let me know.

Thanks for the help!

i got mine from ryan at RnR racing. I thought they were all the same. mine wasn't a brand name or anything, it came in a plain plastic bag, but was braided SS, came with the banjo bolt and copper washers, and was the correct length, all the necessary hardware to hook it up. the only reason i could imagine a company screwing up the design is if they were the most incompetent people on the planet. maybe ppl were getting clutch lines shipped to them for the wrong car? either way, mine worked out fine. dont forget to remove the restrictor pill when doing the line, and when bleeding the clutch, you have to fill & keep the fluid to the very top of the resevoir, otherwise, you'll be pumping air forever.
