Question RACE FUEL vs WI(METHANOL)

Why knows the difference in HP between R.F. and 93oct.+Methanol injection at 35psi?
Mods:2.3+GT37
If AMS made 710whp at 37psi...Wanna know what will be with WI at 35psi....

35psi is gonna be too much for Meth injection unless you spray a whole bunch of it... you would most likely need to install 4 injectors for each runner if you wanted to spray enough to run it... and if you are gonna do that... you may just want to run it straight meth and ditch the IC

He has a GT35r... it has an external wastegate

And no... one fuel pump is perfectly fine. The Walbro wont keep up but there are plenty of pumps that will flow enough meth to power a methanol car as fast as you can go.

As for the power difference it really depends on what your tune looks like on the 33psi. Race gas is much denser so you can cram more of it in there to make a bigger boom and there is lots of physics behind it aside from the octane number. Assuming you are talking about C16 or VP Import you will probably see maybe a 50 horse difference. Who knows though really... it all depends on how your tune looks now. Are you retarding the time a ton to make it not knock... are you pumping a ton of extra fue to cool it as a knock suppressant... I would assume one or both of those are being used to control the knock and if so... just think how much more power would be there with better timing/fuel and there is your answer Otherwise... just go dyno it and run it unsafely for one pull and see how much more power it makes That would be your answer if it doesnt blow testing. It would be much easier, cheaper, and safer to just buy some C16 and test it.

for 35psi you would want to run a M15 and a M7 nozzle.

You have to be carefull running that much methanol as it some will wash down the cylinder walls past the rings into the oil and contaminate it.

Many tuners will advice against it unless the tolerances were setup with it in mind.

I wouldn't try to crank the boost any higher, unless you want to replace your block anytime soon .
