That is very impressive, i'm looking to get the 37R kit hopefully from AMS and i'll run about 22-23PSI on pump hopefully. So that gives me a good idea on when it will spool. This thread also helps me alot so I can decide which clutch and injectors to get I'll be running the UTEC aswell...

I had a nice boost leak at the track once and hit 12.5 @116mph with 17psi on the AMS GT35RL Kit

27psi at 4.2k is not realistic

You could hit 22-23psi on pump gas easily with a GT35r... thats my wastegate pressure... I cant go any lower even if I wanted. You should be able to hit mid 11s on pump at around 119-122 with a good tune at 23psi. I honestly dont know if the 2.0 will have enough exhaust pressure at 4.2k to spin the turbo that much. I could be wrong but I seriously doubt it. I was wrong about the spool before about the GT35r but that seems way too quick. Perhaps if you brake boost it or use some sort of ALS to help.

And race gas lets you use smaller sized injectors.. the fuel is much more dense and resists knock much better. You can get away with a tune that is driving the injectors much lower (For both of the reasons). At 23psi on pump vs 29 psi race I drive the injectors less at the 29psi.

27psi at 4.2k sounds realistic in 4th gear. wastgate spring pressure makes a big difference.

I suppose it could be... I do my rolls start at around 4k so I dont have any good answers about that spool. Starting to spool a car at 1.5k doesnt make sense because if you honestly are trying to spool a car that low you should probably downshift I would rather rate spool from 3.5-4k starting. That is more likely where you would try to get it to spool... its also closer to where a shift point would be under normal driving. Starting at 3.5-4k there is no way to hit 27psi by 4.2k Possibly starting at 1.5k in third or fourth gear I suppose i could see it happening... 27 still seems pretty high. Id guess more like 23 or so.

If I only trap 119-122 on pump and alky, I will be very disappointed.. I trapped 116 on a stock 16g and pump. I am hoping for 125+ traps on pump/alky... I believe evodave trapped 129 on pump and alky on a stock motor... Hell Buschur's race car trapped 141 on the kit i am running on race gas, I think 125 is very possible on pump/alky

i agree with the mid 11@120ish. now with the alky at 30psi with a good tune upper 120's.

+1 When I order my 37R kit, I want to hit over 120+ on pump gas.
