I installed Fireball's kit today, and feel it's well worth the money. Throttle response and low-end driveability are improved.

Thanks!

Hey guys..I just bought 12ft. of 6awg wire and 8 connectors, does anyone know how many pieces of wire I split it up into and how long they should be? Also, where are all the grounding points? Thanks for any help

I found plain 4 gauge speaker wire to work really well on my integra. Its fairly inexpensive also...

I think Fireball's got a template for it, you should try to PM him to see if he's got what you need.

Sorry, I'm not on here 24/7. Pm Firebolt please. I threw out his instructions.

my 2 c

hey everyone... been very busy traveling but i come on here from time to time and check it out.

when i saw this post, i had to comment.

The day after I bought my Evo I bought an Arospeed Ground Wire Kit.... It came out like 2 1/2 years ago at SEMA.... wasn't noticed too much but let me tell you, the price is right, looks tight and does the job.

This was my very first mod (if you want to call it that), in my humble opinion it helps!

anyways, just my 2c

I need all the help I can get, and I'm begging someone at this point to assit me. I just bought an HKS Circle Earth System, and I was asstonished to find that all the instructions on how to install the kit was in Japanese. Does anyone have instructions on where to attach the wires from another kit somone has already installed? Is there any chance someone can scan the instruction manuel and email it to me??? Please I need some serious help. I have no idea where to begin.

Thank you!

Never mind everyone!!! It took me 45 minutes to install and it was easy as hell to do. I just had to pay super close attention to the pictures provided in the Japanese instructions and I was able to install the whole earthing kit flawlessly.

engine fires

Is that your 4G63 I smell burning or your homemade grounding kit?? Be careful out there - keep in mind that while it's not rocket science, it is electricity...

And the 8 gauge that you get with a $300 kit is going to be enchanted with special spells to ward off evil, while 8 gauge from the welding shop for a couple bucks will burt into flames

I know this thread has been beaten to death, but it's only 12 volts (or ~14 when running) people! Leave the cubic zirconia encrusted cables to the Honduh people, please, and don't waste your money.

I don't know about homemade kits but I'm very very pleased with the HKS Kit and it was incredibly cheap . I don't know where you guys shop but I did not spend $300 on my earthing kit. And I certainly saw a difference especially with the idle of the car. I've taken some pictures of the grounding locations HKS recommends on the Evo and they are in very very easy to reach places.
