hooking up MBC to turbo or BOV?

anyone know if there is a big difference in hooking up a mbc to your bov rather then the turbo?

Come on, BigAeVo, don't stir up the hornet's nest! This topic has been covered in GREAT DETAIL many times on this board. Make sure to always search for such things first.

There is not a big difference in the two, but I prefer to use the turbo nipple so that I am directly affecting boost at the turbo instead of down the line through the IC system, which could mean I'm doing it after leaks if there are any. Likewise, I prefer not to tap into my BOV line so as not to cause any potential pressure loss.

warrtalon is quick to respond to this stuff.... got in a discussion about this the other night during my install... i prefer straight turbo to wastegate... the guy doing the install with me prefered the bov way because of ease... its up to you, but im with warrtalon on this one

Most people you speak to will suggest to source the signal from the turbo nipple.
