cam for which powerband?

How's it going everyone. First post for me so yes I'm a newbie, but before i get told to search I've tried and can't find anything close to what I'm lokking for. So on to the question. I want to get cams as my next upgrade, but I don't know what best meets my needs. I won't be drag racing that much just once and a while, and I plan on doing some auto X and time attacks. I want to know what of the power band would the 264's affect ie. 3000-6000 and for the 272's as well. Thanks in advance.

I would highly recommend going with 272 for your need. I didn't notice any loss in low end power when I had the HKS 272 cams in my 05. However, the top was pulling like mad vs stock cams. If you can live with the lumpy idle then you should get the 272s.

Thanks,
Tom

or get the best of both worlds with a 264 intake and 272 exaust, smoother idle and more power

The WORKS 269 cams provide gains across the entire power band with no loss in driveability and only the slightest hint of a lope at idle

I would go with the 272's also, my car pulls hard as hell with them. The idle isnt bad at all even with stock cam gears, if tuned properly.

Price is per cam and I think we have one set in stock with more arriving in the next week or so.
