upper ic pipe question

I was looking at an upper ic pipe for my car and was wondering if anyone knows if the injen is the same diameter as the ams or buschur one because they require the small battery to use theirs! is this because they use bigger piping or just run differently? I obviously want wichever is made from bigger piping!

Your mods dont necessitate an upper pipe. Very minimal gains with a high cost....

Anyhow, the Buschur and AMS unit shoot for the straightest path. Their piping is still 3". The Injen achieves theirs by adding more bends and retaining the battery. The cost of the Buschur or AMS will be higher in the end, but you are gaining a piece that is minimally bent with the straightest path for maximum gains.

I relocated my battery to the trunk... easy cheap and you can use any pipe you want... 2.5 or 3... I would go with AMS. BTW-your corrent mods are begging for cams!

If you don't use the short routing i.e Buschur or AMS the UICP is a waste. If you do pipes do them right. The Injen stuff follows crappy routing. And 3 inch IC pipes are for HUGE turbos.

He's right. Dont waste your money with IC pipes that arent short routed, your better off leaving stock ones. The lower pipe is a good idea to replace as it is restrictive.

You know who has 3" intercooler piping? AMS's shop car (808awhp) and Chris' 932awhp car 2.5 is fine for us.
