How many people have put 272's in on there stock turbo and seen a proven (possible dyno) results. I could of sworn I've seen many threads on adding cams but let me have it, I already own them, labor isn't that much but I don't want to hinder my performance. Thanks
Don't feel bad about releasing the name of that Ignorant Shop adviser, he has no fu$king idea. I have never heard that Evos wouldn't make power on cams, it seens like he does not know much about Evos.

People are reporting anywhere from 12-30 whp depending on mods and we are talking about modest mods and not huge mods(Turbos, alcohol injection, etc).

My best friend Sergio (Evofunk) gained 38WHP at Precision Dyno on a Mustang Dynowith just putting 264/272 cams, LICP and fuel pump and NO TUNING.

Run away from that shop. As far is the subbies, not even that, I had a WRX and one every 10000 people puts cams on their Subarus, they are super expensive, it takes 4 cams and the labor is astronomical, definately that shop is misleading you..

If you are looking for something mild close to stock get the 264/264, they are great for fast spool , instant response at lower mid range, then a 264/272 is a good compromise of good low and top end, 272/272 seen to make more power at top.

I highly suggest doing cams but definately not from that shop. And please, you will do us a favor by releasing that Shop name..

Good luck!!

I'm gonna call and see how quick AMS can do a clutch and cams. I'll have to stay in town while they do it and make a road trip. While I have everyones attention, Valve springs and Retainers or not?

There you go take it to AMS.

there is another shop besides ams that is not as far if ams is 300 this shop should only be about 240 from you. pm me if you want the name.

as far as the springs and retainers go you dont need them unless your going with a bigger turbo down the line. you can use your stock ones up to 8300k(being safe you should only flash up to 8k) anything after that your stock bottom end wont hold up and you will have a bigger problem in hand.
