Please educate me on how the uncorrected numbers give you crank horsepower.

Crank hp is measured normally on a engine dyno. You can however calculate drivetrain loss and factor it in to the run, which will show a even higher # but since roller dynos measure at the wheels, drivetrain loss has already occured
