Boost Pill Reinstall

Does anyone know which end of the boost pill goes into the vacum line first. Ones end of the pill is tapered and the other isn't. Does anyone know what way it goes??
Or if it even matters which way??

Taper toward your turbo, this is how it is on my IX. Fyi the IX has a different part number for the boost tube, hopefully nothing is change on the pill.
