DC Stainless Downpipe W/Cat Delete

Ok im looking at getting a DP for my EVO and was wondering what everyone else thought about this. Im looking at the greddy cause it has the Cat delete on it. In the pictures i cant tell if it has a bung for the 02 also would i have to run the Perrin CEL fix?

Let me know any info you have on this and maybe if you recommend a diffrent DP or to run or not to run a cat delete. I allready have the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust.

Thanks

I'm running the dc and it's great. I did add some washers one the second lower brace as a precaution because it was almost touching. I'm using the helix cel fix and I have no problems.

Im not sure I understand where you had to add the washers? and was it almost touching, Im also assuming it did have the Bung for the 02 sensor. I have not seen the helix 02 CEL fix where can i find that to purchase?

Also running the DC sports catless DP. Fitment is perfect. Looks like the spent a lot of R&D time making a good quality product. I use the $2 DIY O2 fix...outlined in the "how to" section of this forum. Works like a champ. Have to be careful though..the mechanical O2 fix puts the O2 sensor very close to the chassis and you risk contact and possible sensor damage. This depends entirely on your exhaust. The Greddy Evo2 exhaust has a longer 02 bung creating the situation listed above. Other exhausts do not have this problem.

Yes. Any full 3" piping is going to be loud without a cat in there.

I have DC downpipe sat in my garage not being used. If you want to drive to Pearland and pick it up I'll let it go for $100 (has 3K miles on it) but you'll have to find your own gasket. I'll also throw in the mechanical O2 fix.

The dp does not have a o2 bung. I used the helix mechanical fix on the o2 sensor that is on the cat back section(gruppe-s sells them). On one of the braces it was close but not touching so I added some washers to get some more clearence. Yes after you add the dp it will be louder.

My car is only loud when Im at WOT...even then its quieter than my firends car with Bushur exhaust and catless. One thing is for sure...my car is not loud and obnoxious and I love it.

Mine bolted up perfect with no issues whatsoever. I did heat wrap mine though just in case it did touch something, but that hasn't occurred. Overall, it's a nicely designed dp.
