I have searched and searched and I still do not feel like I have found any significant data to lead me to believe that there is one FMIC in the after market that stands out from the rest. They seem to all have there own issues with the way they fit or how well they flow or how much they cost or blah, blah, blah. I want to know why you bought your FMIC, are you happy with it and if you could do it all over again would you still get the same one.

Thanking everyone in advance,

AMS, Buschur, and Nesei should be your choices.

I like the short lower pipe design on my BR Deluxe kit. Makes a lot of sense and is cost effective too. For a big turbo I'd trade up to an AMS or Buschur race model though...

Nothing wrong with the Buschur Deluxe or even better the Race if you plan to go big..No cutting and still retains the bumper support...

I chose AMS becuase of the end tank design. If you notice the tanks are tapered on both top and bottom so it is designed to use the entire core. This being the main reason I purchased the AMS FMIC. Their customer service is awsome just like their product. Don't get me wrong their are other wonderful vendors on here as well but this was just my reason for going with AMS.

All of the ones that are specified above require at least some modifications to fit or wont fit with the factory undertray. They all cool well, but dont fit like OEM... I think the author of this thread intends to keep the factory undertray fully functional and installed on his car.

I bought a PWR FMIC. The reason I bought is due to end tank design, weight, and installation. The FMIC will clear the crash bar and I am pretty sure it will fit w/ the under tray (I don't have the under tray on). The endtank design is made in such a way that the air enters the center of the FMIC and has tapered end tanks in order to use the entire core. Not just the bottom rows like a lot of FMIC's on the market. The intercooler is tube & fin so its almost as light as the stock FMIC even though its considerably bigger.

I had the PWR too, not bad for the stock turbo, but I heard a lot of good stuff from the Nisei fmic and went with it. I love it, flows well, no pressure loss keeps things cool!

Did your PWR fit with the stock undertray without cutting or modifying it?
