I'm sure they're pretty similar. I've heard great things about both. When it came time to changing my fluids i went with the Pennzoil Synchromesh because I can get it easily from teh local parts store and it's in my price range.

I run it in both of my cars: a '92 GSX, and a '03 VW Jetta Wolfsburg. It eliminated all of the grind issues I had in the VW after I put in my diesel geek Short Shifter, and VASTLY improved the shifting in my GSX.

My cohort puts it in his evo and it works in there great.

just for ease of use/ getting a hold of/ price i'd go with the Pennzoil.

It(penzoil) kinda sucks in the winter time when I had it in my 00 si. But it was pretty good in the summer time. I don't think i'm going to try it in my Evo because I don't want to mess it up since it gets pretty cold here in MN.

almost the same thing. GM syncromesh and penzoil are the same thing exactly. BG does the same thing but its expensive.

you won't notice any difference if you are trying to get to that point.

You are confusing Pennzoil Synchromesh with the GM version (which is exactly the same). BG is a completely different product

No sorry. My post referred to the original question. About once a week on this site, I see a post where someone thinks Pennzoil Synchromesh and BG Synchoshift are the same thing. My point was that they are not.

I had a $7000 experience with Pennzoil. I use BG... Lokey Mitsu in Clearwater, FL sells it for $9.XX per bottle.
