Whats wrong with my CLUTCH?? >=T

My clutch feels really weird.... the length that id have to let go of it to start moving got really shorter than b4 and my trainy sounds like something in it is bending when i downshift....so i took it to the dealership and they said nothing was wrong....but i feel like they were just BSing so they would have to spend some money.
Also when im driving, and i rest my foot on the clutch i feel a rumbling which i didnt feel b4, and when i press on the clutch it feels all soft and weird on some days...and my gas pedal feels softer too.
Also lol, my car feels slower....

Anyone have any input on whats wrong??

Take it to different dealership to get second oppinion. When I had mine stock, I also noticed some days it would be weaker, moved differently and sounded different then others, but it was still fine. So unless it slips I wont worry much about clutch.

I've never heard of the distance becoming SHORTER. I've heard of the clutch release becoming HIGHER though. Your car might feel slower to you for numerous reasons. Your clutch COULD actually be messed up, or you might just be getting used to the pull of your car. The weather plays a big part in the way our cars move too. When it's nice and cold outside our cars tend to pull better, when it's hot and humid they feel slow as heck.

A few things you might want to check:
1. The brake fluid reservoir ... check the level
2. There may be air in your clutch line that needs to be bled
3. Your clutch pedal may need adjustment

On a stock EVO the clutch engagement point should be high (it should engage close to the point you let go of your clutch) ...
Goodluck

Um, why hasn't anyone told the man that you shouldn't rest your foot on the clutch while you drive? I'm sure you don't have your foot hovering over the pedal, so you have to lay some type of small pressure on the plate...not good. Any little thing will wear it out after some time.

Maybe it's just time for a new one...or perhaps the slave cylinder?
