2 O2 sensors broken after 6000 miles

Had my car for 1000 miles, stock, and got a CEL. Dont remember which one, but think it was a P0139 or P0136. It says on the receipt Bank1 sensor 2 inoperative which would be P0136.

Anyway, they replaced the O2 sensor (the one on the O2 housing, not at the cat) and the CEL went away.

Around 5000 miles ago I got a megan TBE and the mechanical fix. This worked for around 1000 miles and then I got a P0138. Got the Perrin elec fix and that went away for a week or two.

Now I have a P0139, took it to the dealers (they are coolk about mods) and on the recepit it says Bank1 sensor 2 inoperative, so they are ordering me a new O2 sensor (they said rear, not front).

My question IS IT POSSIBLE THIS IS THE O2 SENSOR ON THE MANIFOLD OR COULD THIS BE DUE TO THE PERRIN FIX?

I have the car now and am going to check the wiring. Did a search on P0139, but cant decide if it was my mods or not that did it. I will pay for the work if it was.

Hard question. It could have been bad fuel, or bad sensors??

It sounds like they replaced the wrong one the first time.
Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the rear sensor.

They definitely replaced the one nearer the front, as they forgot to properly attach one of the vac pipes near the turbo and it gave me a cel when I picked it up.

If they replaced the wrong sensor, why would the cel go away for 5000 miles?

Is bank 1 sensor 2 definitely the one after the cat?

Sleeperevo, I will bare that in mind

PS thanks for the help guys
