what power steering fluid for evo?

what kind of fluid and how much will I need?

I have to drop the sub-frame which includes the steering rack so I'll need to replace the fluid, right?

what kind of fluid should I use (mobil one ATF synthetic?)

how much will I need?

I just use Valvoline Synpower. I may be mistaken with Mitsu's, but with Nissans brake fluid and ATF were identical.

Did you mean steering fluid and ATF are the same - not brake fluid, right?

Just get some from your dealer. Mitsu has its own brand.

I'm amazed nobody knows the answer.... and take it to the dealer = you also don't know.

anyway.. long story short. I got my transfer case out and the new one in by removing all the motor mounts and not completly dropping the subframe... so I don't need the fluid after all.

Wow, you don't need to remove the subframe AT ALL to remover the transfer case.... what are you people doing? This is not the first time I've heard of someone doing this either...

Oh the memories. Glad I could please.

Who would have thought owning two bmws and an Audi would cost me less per year than an evo.
