Worst luck EVAR with wheel studs....Help please....

Here is the run down. I threw a lug nut, broke the associated wheel stud at said time. The other 4 bent/stripped. In the process 3 of the remaining four un-seated them selves from the wheel hub itself (IE the knarled teeth stripped). Now I have three remaining lug nuts on three unsecured wheel studs and can't get my rim off to even start the replacemment procedure. I have tried drilling, chiseling/splitting, vice gripping, dremeling... and good ole fashioned brute force. I need suggestions/help/

Thanks Aku

The best way that I have found is to get behind the wheel and if you can get a grinder in there, grind off the back of the wheel studs so they will just pull through.

You might see if you can get the caliper bolts off so that you can slide the caliper down and away from where you are trying to work.

You best bet is to go in from the backside of the wheel and grind off the back of the studs, the part you can see on the back of the wheel hub. If you have a die grinder and some sort of grinding bit, it can make it fast work.

Die grinder with a 60 grit sanding pad. Or even a cut off wheel (dangerous, if not careful).

Dremel will work but make take a bunch of discs and an assload of time.

Last option would be a little heat on the back of the stud and a very big impact.

thanks for the answers. I am trying still to get the heads cut off. I got one off, but it was still too fat to punch through. I need to grind more off the sides....

OK I got them replaced. Now I need to figure out why there is a strange grinding noise coming from the rotor. I think the bolts on the back of the caliper are touching the rotor....I'll look tommorow, I'm tired. Thanks again for all the help....
