I just recently put my in without any problems. It's probably your vaccum.

You cannot re-use any of the lines, and you should not have tapped into the BOV line. It should have two completely new, fresh vaccuum hoses being used. One that goes from the side of the MBC to the wastegate and one from the bottom of the MBC to the turbo nipple.

Get to it - chop chop!

i installed mine with the heavy spring, the source off of the turbo nipple and using all new vacuum tubing. I can get boost up to where i want it for 3rd-5th but for some reason I also get only around 15 psi in 1st and 2nd. i thought up to 15psi in 1st was normal.

15 is a little low, but it should be lower than 3-5, because of the lesser load.

my MBC came with the heavy spring and you should use the turbo outlet nipple as a boost source, make sure you capped off the stock solenoid nipples and the nipple on the intake pipe.
