If money were no object, then why have an evo in the first place? Why not buy a ferrari or lambo? The evo is an extremely fast car for the money, and alot of evo owners don't have a ton of money to waste on upgrades that don't do anything. Sure a 20G might yield a tiny little increase in top end power, however the gain in top end power might not be worth the loss in spoolup time. If you don't care about "the best bang for the buck" then why the hell are you driving an EVO in the first place?

 

because it depends on what you wanan do with the car.

for one a ferrari or lambo is not necessariliy the fastest thing once maxed out. if you want to auto cross yo don't buy a 430 modena and you certainly don't wanna buy a lambo for anything but inpressing females.

would i run autocross in a gt35 powered evo? i'd rather drive a stock 9

there are areas of motorsports where lag is not acceptable. if i could put an ls1 in my evo... i'd do it.

 

Lol right like your car would stand a chance in hell against an enzo, z06, 360 modena. There are plenty of faster cars out there that cost way more than the EVO. If money were no object you would NOT buy an evo. People don't buy the evo because its the fastest car on the planet. They buy it because it is a cheap high performance car.
